Wishing

I lay under the stars
Watching them fly across the sky
And even though I knew it was wrong
I wished for you.

I wished that we could be together
And even though I expected a Mr Wickham
I got a Mr Darcy

So I still wish
I wish at 11-11 and on shooting stars and when I lose an eyelash
Because if a wish brought you to me
Maybe it'll let me keep you too.
