They say you have to earn the good
That comes along with the bad
What you give is what you get
And the rest is just a side effect
The strong, the weak, the mad

But I don't think I do enough giving
For what you give to me
And I'm not sure I try hard enough
To be what I want to be

Because you're so much more than I deserve
You're so perfect that it hurts
