I am not in love wth you.
I don't imagine saying 'I do' in front of a church full of people.
I don't think about our first born child
Or what we'll call our cat.
I don't know what colour our kitchen will be
Or how we'll celebrate our 25th annivesary.

Right now, the best I can say is this:
I am completely
         madly
         irrevocably
         head over heels
In like with you.

I think about holding your hand around town
Hugging you and not wanting to let go
And kissing you, underneath my bus stop, with the rain pounding down.
I imagine the teasing we'd get from our friends
And the way we'd ignore it.
I think about a 'we' instead of two 'I's.

I think about you asking me to be your girlfriend
And how I'd smile as I say yes.

No, I'm not in love with you.

But I'm hoping I'll do for now.
